Raymond Mhlaba Centre for Governance and Leadership is the primary coordinating structure within the Faculty of Humanities for providing a range of services to the government and other stakeholders. It acts as a vehicle for the faculty's strategic community engagement and undertakes innovative research focusing on public policy areas. The centre also renders professional development services to local, provincial, and national government through the training of public servants. It promotes and facilitates community engagement in public policy debates by hosting dialogues, panel discussions, seminars, book launches, and guest lectures.
